In a significant step towards expanding its presence in the global wine market, a Bulgarian wineries participating in the ChooseEU project made a notable appearance at Vyno Dienos, the largest and most prestigious international wine exhibition in the Baltic States. Held annually in Vilnius, Lithuania, Vyno Dienos (meaning “Wine Days” in Lithuanian) is a major event that brings together winemakers, distributors, sommeliers, and wine enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond.
This year’s edition, which took place on 10-11 May, featured over 100 exhibitors from countries like France, Italy, Spain, and beyond. Among these exhibitors were Bulgarian wineries, representing the country’s rich and ancient winemaking traditions. The wineries’s participation was facilitated by the ChooseEU project, an EU-funded initiative that promotes high-quality European wines in international markets.
Attendees at the exhibition were impressed by the depth and complexity of Bulgarian wines. These wines provided a fresh experience for international buyers, distributors, and sommeliers looking for something unique to introduce to their markets.
The Bulgarian wines’s participation in Vyno Dienos, thanks to the support of the ChooseEU project, marks an important milestone in its journey towards global recognition.
